Love Forgot

I don't believe in a one true love,
Nor in a sky or heaven above.
And if there should be a hell below
I know your spirit will be in tow.
Far and wide, deep and tall,
There is no love in which to fall.
No magic in the world we live,
No hope behind the kiss I give.
If someday, a man should come
And his good works, an added sum
Undo the harm that you did create,
My theory I won't deviate.
One day, perhaps, I'll break a heart,
Because I know not where to start.
But I won't feel for one cannot,
Feel when a love has been forgot.
